About The Position

St. Charles Preparatory School Custodian Full-time: 11am to 7:30pm St. Charles Preparatory School, located at 2010 E. Broad Street in Columbus, is seeking a reliable, hardworking Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This full‑time position supports daily facility care, event setup, and seasonal maintenance across our campus from 11:00am-7:30pm.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting 50–100 lbs
• Frequent movement across campus required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must pass BCI/FBI background checks
• Completion of Protecting God’s Children program

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors
• Clean windows, walls, light fixtures, and blinds
• Empty trash and restock supplies
• Move furniture and equipment for cleaning or event setup
• Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow removal, or lawn care
• Maintain safe work practices and follow all safety regulations
