About The Position

CHANGE LIVES. INCLUDING YOURS. The Custodian is responsible for being part of a team that keeps the facility clean, safe, attractive and ready for use. They engage with members and help create a positive atmosphere. Kevin Kerr, Fitness Associate said, "After teaching 35 years, I enjoy working at the Y because I can stay active and get out of the house. The staff are friendly and always willing to help you feel like you belong. The members are upbeat because they are there to do something that they want to be doing. Being able to work part time is nice, as is getting to work the hours that I was looking to work." The Custodian is responsible for duties such as cleaning: Bathrooms Floors Windows Surfaces Disposing of garbage Full Time: Monday-Friday, Shift Rotation, 8:00 am-4:30 pm or 3:00 pm-11:30 pm Rotating Weekends, Every 3rd Week, Saturday, 11:00 am-7:30 pm and Sunday, Noon-8:30 pm You'll enjoy a fun, rewarding work environment, EXCELLENT benefits package, and FREE YMCA Membership!
