Custodian (Full Time, evening shift)
About The Position
Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a full-time custodian. Typical hours of work are 2:45-10:45pm, but may vary during school breaks and on student non-attendance days. SEIU union position (SEIU membership is at the discretion of the employee). Full benefits available. Salary range starts at $39,160.00 / year Faith's Law: Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct. Applicants who are offered a position will be required to affirm that they are not disqualified from employment for these reasons and to authorize this review.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED certification
- Display a positive attitude
- Dependable
- Have a good attendance record
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Good communication skills
- Physical dexterity
- Experience in sanitation, chemical usage, equipment operation and a basic knowledge of building cleaning procedures
