About The Position
Under direct supervision of the Travel Center Manager, performs the overall custodial functions and cleanliness of Tiwa. Duties include heavy cleaning, in accordance with management directives. Requirements
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to operate tools used in the performance of custodial work.
- Ability to prepare custodial reports.
- Knowledge of general safety rules, requirements, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally with the general public.
- Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with team members and supervisors.
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma, GED Certification or equivalent.
- Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.
Responsibilities
- Under supervision performs custodial duties: dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning; cleaning of windows, mirrors, walls, and doors.
- Moves or lifts furniture and boxes.
- Cleans ceiling fixtures, through the proper and safe use of a ladder.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance of custodial equipment, cleaning of equipment, and cleaning of fuel.
- Reports equipment repair requirements to supervisor.
- Disposes of trash when required.
- Recycles used boxes as required.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
- Performs additional duties as requested.
