About The Position

Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in the office, employee breakroom, and restrooms Perform minor repairs and maintenance such as painting and cleaning carpets Assist in sweeping and removing trash Ensure heating and cooling systems are operational Maintain a neat and orderly janitors room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked Wash windows Maintenance and landscaping using tolls such as a weedwhacker. Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions Detail-oriented and thorough Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance and landscaping Ability to keep the office clean and orderly Ability to interact with other employees and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
