About the role Within the Facilities department, this position is responsible for the overall janitorial duties of the facility during work hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum one year experience in a custodian/janitor position required
- Ability to multi-task a variety of responsibilities and duties
- Ability to provide good customer service to the employees
Nice To Haves
- Fork Lift Certification a plus
- Bloodborne Pathogen Certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping
- Cleaning
- Mopping
- Vacuuming
- Trash removal
- Polishing
- Inventory janitorial and kitchen supplies
- Balances inventory between janitorial closets Inspects assigned areas and cleans as needed
- Inspects exterior landscape and cleans as needed
- Inspects and cleans interior and exterior of company vehicles
- Applies proper methods of cleaning to various tasks
- Replaces supplies
- Assists Maintenance Mechanics as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
