About The Position

Unica Enterprises is hiring both Custodians and Shift Supervisors to support a 75,000 SF aquatic and recreation facility operating 7 days per week with full-time 2nd-shift and part-time 3rd-shift coverage. This is a high-demand, fast-paced cleaning environment requiring strong teamwork, reliability, and leadership across all shifts.

Requirements

• 3+ year custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
• 3–5+ years supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities services
• Experience managing teams in large or high-traffic facilities
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in real time

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Continuous cleaning and sanitation during operating hours
• Clean and disinfect: Restrooms, locker rooms, and showers
• Pool decks and aquatic areas
• Fitness areas, gymnasium, and public spaces
• Floor care (mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming)
• Trash removal and supply restocking
• High-touch surface disinfection
• Respond to spills and urgent cleaning needs
• Support events (tournaments, swim meets, rentals)
• Supervise custodial staff across assigned shift
• Ensure continuous coverage and performance standards
• Manage staffing assignments and adjust for demand/events
• Perform inspections and maintain quality control
• Respond to escalations and emergency cleaning needs
• Coordinate with management and client representatives
• Track attendance, productivity, and daily reporting
