About The Position

The Custodian I provides general cleaning in assigned areas to include emptying trash, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, disinfecting restrooms and drinking fountains, and dusting. Responsibilities

• Cleaning in assigned areas consists of Empty trash
• Vacuum carpets
• Sweep and mop floors
• Disinfect restrooms and drinking fountains
• Dusting in office areas, common areas, and labs
• Knowledge in the use of equipment and cleaning chemicals necessary to perform assigned work.
• Assist in the materials recycling program.
• Complete special cleaning assignments instructed by the night supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
