About The Position

The Children's Home of Reading, now operating as CHOR Youth and Family Services, is seeking a dedicated Custodian/Housekeeper. Requirements

• Responsible person with ability to follow directions
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate basic information in English
• Must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance
• Must pass FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance
• Possess a valid PA driver's license
• Maintain a good driving record throughout employment
• Must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening (THC included)
• Possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings

Responsibilities

• General grounds clean-up
• Light snow and ice removal from property
• Cleaning floors in designated areas
• Cleaning restrooms in designated areas
• Cleaning windows in designated areas
• Assisting in the on-site Laundry facilities
• Collecting and emptying trash
• Cleaning of the company fleet vehicles
