About The Position

This job announcement is a courtesy job post for the named local Social Services agency. Typical Tasks Include: Inspecting the building, fixtures, equipment, and outdoor areas for maintenance needs Performing installation, construction, repair, and modifications of building systems Estimating materials and determining tools or support equipment needed for each job Conducting indoor maintenance such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and electrical work Performing outdoor maintenance such as concrete work, roofing, and structure repair Maintaining logs, activity reports, and other required documentation Performing other related duties as assigned VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Requires high school diploma or GED and any combination of education and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education. SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: Requires a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is in compliance with City Driving Standards. Special skills or equipment certification may be required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of six months of related, full-time equivalent experience. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Performance of essential functions may require exposure to confined spaces. Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies. Emergency operations support work and work locations may be outside of normal job duties.

Requirements
