About The Position
This position is part of the AbilityOne Program, a national program that provides employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Through nonprofit agencies, the program provides employment opportunities in the areas of custodial, landscaping, and food preparation services to a multitude of government customers. The program also requires that 75% of the services provided be completed by individuals who meet the definition of a federal disability. Requirements
- Must have 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

- You must wear the appropriate PPE, including glasses, gloves, a mask, goggles, and closed-toe shoes.
Responsibilities
- Keeps the assigned area in a clean and orderly condition
- Prepare chemicals for use in the performance of various cleaning tasks, in accordance with instructions
- Care for equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed
- Perform cleaning duties as instructed and assigned, including but not limited to:
- Restroom cleaning, replenishing paper products, and soap in restrooms.
- Office cleaning, empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, sweep.
- Removal of trash
- Floor cleaning includes sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, and wet mopping.
- Performance of cleaning duties may take place in an indoor/outdoor environment, depending on the customer’s needs.
- All other duties as assigned
