About The Position

Intermediate District 287 is looking for a Custodial Worker at the District Service Center located in Plymouth, MN! Custodial Workers are responsible for performing custodial tasks involving building and equipment maintenance (operational and remedial) as well as cleaning and providing general maintenance of District buildings. Position Details: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, no holidays or weekends! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for a clean and orderly building in compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Employees appointed to positions in this class must have adequate physical strength, stamina, physical agility and visual and auditory acuity and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties of the class.
  • A pre-employment physical examination is required.
  • Incumbents in this class may be required to lift moderate to heavy weights and may be exposed to significant levels of dust, heat, noise, extreme weather conditions and risk of injury from equipment and assaultive and/or abusive students.
