About The Position

Custodial Worker (PT- 32 hours Biweekly- Evenings) - TJUH Please note, this is a Part Time Position - 32 Hours Biweekly, and requires weekend and holiday rotation. Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas. The position includes, but is not limited to the following essential functions. Essential Functions: Creates an aesthetically pleasing environment for our customers. Performs cleaning procedures in accordance with Infection Control and Hospital policies. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years’ experience required
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to problem solve, ability to understand and explain job expectations and duties
• Exhibits a kind, friendly manner in communication with others, and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years of housekeeping/customer service experience in healthcare or the hospitality industry preferred but not required
