About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in and around our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and clients. The Custodial Worker will perform a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and hygiene of the buildings.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently.
Strong attention to detail and focus on quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom sanitation.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly; ensure proper disposal procedures are followed.
Assist with maintaining outdoor areas, including trash pickup and general upkeep of grounds.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Custodial Supervisor.
Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and protocols.
Collaborate with other custodial staff to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Maintain custodial equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored.
Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
