About The Position

Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to join our team! We are looking for honest, hardworking individuals who are driven to help others. Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. This position is responsible for:

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred
• Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.

• Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
• Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.
• Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
