About The Position
Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of Custodial Services Specialist – P00358 with Facilities Operations. As a Custodial Services Specialist, you’ll play a key role in performing custodial care for the College’s buildings and other premises. Established in 1966, Tallahassee State College is dedicated to providing high-quality educational opportunities for students from Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties, as well as from throughout the state, nation, and abroad. Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent and two (2) years of custodial experience.
- Demonstration of sufficient communication skills to safely and effectively perform service functions.
- Must have a valid driver license.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum and dust conference room, employee dining room, offices, and classrooms.
- Mop floors; clean and sanitize restrooms; clean doorways, windows and blinds; replace supplies and empty trash.
- Assist in set-ups and moving furniture.
- Clean and dust.
- Maintain and store equipment and order supplies for area.
