About The Position

EJ has an immediate opening for Custodial Maintenance on 3rd shift (10:00pm to 6:30am) starting at $22.40 up to $25.37 an hour at the Elmira, MI location. Shift premium of $1.50 with 2nd and 3rd shift positions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industrial vehicle/equipment license where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans the plant
  • Uses power and/or hand tools per work instruction database and associated information systems
  • May drive industrial equipment to move materials
  • Uses computer to obtain and or input information
  • May be assigned to jobs in other departments
  • May aid in training of others
  • Provides suggestions for improvement of all of our systems
  • Must meet physical demands as stated below
  • Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
