About The Position

The Custodial / Maintenance Technician works a Thursday–Monday schedule (5 days per week, 30 hours total) and is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept outdoor areas while performing general custodial duties and light maintenance work. This role includes physical, hands-on tasks and requires the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Requirements

• Previous custodial, maintenance, or groundskeeping experience preferred
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. minimum and perform repeated lifting throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties including cleaning and maintaining outdoor common areas, walkways, entrances, and surrounding grounds
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles
• Sweep, remove debris, and maintain exterior surfaces
• Perform light maintenance work, including: Painting Patching small drywall holes Changing light bulbs and fixtures
• Perform light landscaping duties, including: Weed removal Raking landscaped areas Backfilling landscape rock materials
• Identify and report safety hazards, property damage, or maintenance needs
• Assist with additional custodial or maintenance tasks as assigned
