SCOPE: Perform duties to lead employees to clean and keep in an orderly condition working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office or other establishment; and contribute to the mission of Goodwill by maximizing the opportunities for participants with disabilities and other barriers to become more independent. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Uses appropriate supplies to thoroughly clean assigned areas as scheduled or instructed, including but not limited to: floors, bathrooms, woodwork, windows, walls, screen and fixtures. 2. Sweeps, mops or scrubs and polishes floors. 3. Removes chips, trash and other refuse. 4. Dusts equipment, furniture or fixtures; polishes metal fixtures or trimmings 5. Provides supplies and minor maintenance services. 6. Interview, select, recommend, hire, train and supervise assigned staff. Assign and check work. Provide direction to staff and assist in the investigation and resolution of problems. Evaluate performance and provide counseling and coaching to employees. Initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, termination, or disciplinary measures. Maintain harmonious employee/employer relations. Determine current and future staffing levels. Develop and implement staffing plans within budget allotment. Communicate with Rehabilitation Job Coaches, Case Managers, etc. to report job progress, behavioral status, and capabilities of participants in Rehabilitation programs. 7. Schedule and teach work in steps for employees with a diverse set of skills and requirements. 8. Review timesheets for accuracy, approve and submit to Project Manager on designated days. 9. Monitor safety compliance at job sites. 10. Operate company vehicle to transport employees to work locations. 11. Ensure actions and words communicate superior internal and external customer service. 12. Performs or assists with any assignments as required or directed. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 1. Demonstrate by words and actions a commitment to the Goodwill mission to help people with disabilities and other barriers to become self-sufficient, working members of the community. 2. Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies. 3. Follow safety rules, ensure safe operating conditions are followed within area of responsibility, wear required personal protective equipment and clothing, and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
