One Cultural Resources Technician (Seasonal Worker, Full-time, 40 hours/week) position is available with the Colorado State University (CSU) Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position will provide entry-level training and experience on a range of cultural resources projects supporting the Cultural Resources Management (CRM) program at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. The technician will assist with determinations of eligibility and findings of effect for cultural properties in accordance with the NHPA Sections 106 and 110, help CRM compile documentation and evaluation of WWI and Cold War sites, help CRM compile documentation for submission to the Alaska SHPO, help the CRM program with completing annual reviews for base-wide Programmatic Agreement and INRMP, assist in archaeological field investigations (survey, testing excavation). This position is not-to-exceed 195 working days. This position is onsite, and the Cultural Resources Technician must have reliable transportation to the site. The ECDP is unable to provide relocation or housing stipends. Full Consideration Date is 13 April at 12:00 am. Position Location: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.
