Rincon Consultants is seeking a Cultural Resources Assistant Project Manager possessing cultural resources management experience and specialized in California Archaeology to join our team of professionals working on a variety of projects including Utilities, Renewable Energy, Community Development, and other market sector projects. The role entails assisting senior project managers with large complex projects and assignments while leading on small to mid-sized projects. Duties include successfully executing tasks and completing project deliverables and work products, leading and participating in fieldwork, people management, and client coordination. Qualities of the ideal candidate include: the ability to both collaborate as part of a team and work independently, attention to detail, excellent time management capabilities, strong communication skills, and an ability to apply feedback and expand one’s skill set. While this role may offer flexible work arrangements that can include a mix of in-office and remote work, our changing business needs will ultimately determine our level of remote-work flexibility. Additionally, to promote in-person collaboration and client teaming, we prioritize hiring those who reside within 50 miles of a Rincon office which currently includes: Carlsbad, Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Oakland, Palm Springs, Riverside, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. The ideal candidate will be based in Sacramento, though other Northern California office locations may also be considered. This is a minimum 40 hour per week position and some 40+ weeks may be necessary based on project needs.
