Under the Apprenticeship Program, the Cultural Coordinator (Apprentice) reports directly to the Cultural Program Manager providing administrative support to Chugach Heritage Foundation cultural curriculum. In this two-year on-the-job training position, the Apprentice assists with initiatives including virtual and in-person workshops, the annual Russian New Year Celebration, the regional Nuuciq Spirit Camp, regional cultural camps, and future programming within Village in the City, as well as other special projects related to CHF strategic initiatives, preserving, and perpetuating our language and culture for the future. CTS administers this internship program on behalf of Chugach Alaska Corporation (CAC). The program is specifically designed for Shareholders and Descendants of CAC, with the goal of building long-term career pathways in cultural stewardship and heritage preservation.
