About The Position

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
  • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
  • Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Many healthcare facilities require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in place.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of supervisor experience ( cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare )

Responsibilities

  • Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
  • Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
  • Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
  • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
