About The Position

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served seniors for 130 years in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood. Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice services. Residents enjoy access to amenities including a fitness center, pool, pub, theater, and gourmet dining. We are currently hiring a Culinary Supervisor to join our outstanding culinary team and support our mission of providing exceptional dining experiences for residents. Wage: $25.00- $25.50/hr. DOE Schedule: 11:00am-7:30pm (1.0 FTE including every other weekend and holiday)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to train and mentor team members effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food service supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the daily work of culinary employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, and mentoring staff on proper food service and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure portion control, food presentation, and temperatures meet quality standards.
  • Oversee timely start of meal services for residents and guests.
  • Open and close the department according to established procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation, setup, and service of special functions and catered events, maintaining exceptional service standards.
