The CMDP is a Unique 23-Week On-the-Job Management Program Our fast-paced, thoughtful curriculum provides an immersive experience in: Food preparation & execution Ordering & inventory management Product storage & quality standards Equipment knowledge & maintenance Food safety & sanitation leadership Manager-on-Duty responsibilities Human resources fundamentals Employee ownership Team engagement & culture building Throughout the program, participants follow NRG’s Culinary Career Ladder, which clearly outlines the skills, competencies, and leadership proficiencies required to build a successful culinary management career. Requirements

  • Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
  • Must be currently enrolled in a collegiate culinary program, or have graduated within the last 12 months
  • Must complete the application in full and be able to submit an academic letter of reference in the application
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
  • Be collaborative, using a team approach to create an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
  • Please note: Your application submission must be filled out completely, and two academic letters of recommendation are required for your application to be considered
