As a Culinary Cook, you are responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to established receipts, company standards, and presentation guidelines. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous kitchen or line cooking experience
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Team oriented with a positive attitude
  • Strong understanding of time management and multitasking skills.
  • California Food Handlers Certificate required upon hire
  • Ability to remain calm and work well in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to partner with coworkers in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all time
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during and after service
  • Assist with food prep, including chipping, portioning, and all cooking tasks
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of service team member to ensure smooth delivery
  • Properly store food, label items and minimize waste
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
  • Comply with company policies, health department regulations, and safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned
