Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bachelors / Masters / Ph. D Degree, specifically studying Food Science, Meat Science, or a related field.
• Good time management skills and a team player.
• Good communication, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills (Word / Excel / Power point etc.).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ready to gain experience in a pilot plant setting, including working with meat products and operating in cold and wet conditions typical of food manufacturing.

• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver concrete project deliverables in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist application specialists on a selected technical project from experimental design to completion, which includes testing on equipment, analytical procedures, equipment set-up and preparation of materials.
• Work on the testing application of various IFF Food Ingredients.
• Follow the instructions and operate small scale equipment to produce trial samples.
• Operate various laboratory equipment to test the samples, collect, organize, and analyze the data, and present the trial reports.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in their work area.
• Present the final internship project report to the application team.
