Free uniforms and we will clean them! #PGH-DU #PGH-BMC What you will have an opportunity to do: The Kitchen Coordinator will assist all Executive Chefs with daily office and administrative functions. This position will also be responsible for tracking payroll, dietary menu needs, communication between chefs/kitchen, cafeteria menu and signage, and managing the chefs calendar and meetings. This is a full-time position. $19.85 per hour. You should be flexible to work weekends as needed

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in hospitality with sound knowledge of food, beverage, and dietary restrictions skills required.
  • Office administration experience preferred.
  • Strong Computer skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Basic Food Safety certification preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Teams and OneNote experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Chefs and culinary team with data entry and upkeep of menus, recipes, and nutritional information
  • Assist in identifying dietary restrictions of the incoming guests, categorizing and compiling a summary of needs to communicate with leaders, while maintaining the dietary email inbox.
  • Assist in contacting all guests with dietary restrictions on arrival day or prior and inform them of the options available or communicate to the culinary team to contact the guest.
  • Order all supplies for F&B division through purchase orders or requisitions.
  • Ensure all purchases, invoices and check requests have proper authorization.
  • General administrative duties including; maintaining divisional communication board, booking meetings, taking notes, manage division checkbook, running various F&B reports and put in usable format, ensure maintenance requests are submitted and tracked, etc.
  • Report, organize and compile guest feedback from surveys and report out to senior leaders.
  • Run daily/weekly daily labor data and update labor tracker and distribute to all Head Chefs.
  • Update and maintain all menus, signage, and dietary for menu and upcoming change and any rotation.
  • Work on special projects as requested by the Director of Culinary and Director of F&B.
