About The Position

Arbors at Ridges Assisted Living is located on the Ebenezer Ridges Burnsville Campus near Fairview Ridges Hospital. Arbors at Ridges offers 62 breathtaking apartments. The Culinary Assistant is responsible for dining room and to-go meal service to residents.
The schedule includes;
20 hours every two weeks ; Part Time
Evening shift
Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Requirements

• less than 1 year of experience

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma
• 1 year experience

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
