About The Position

Chapel View, a Cassia community, is hiring a Culinary Assistant. This position offers on-the-job training, great benefits, a discounted bus pass, and free meals during shifts. It provides guaranteed hours with the possibility of picking up shifts. No senior care experience is necessary as training will be provided. The role welcomes candidates from all industries, including restaurant workers and anyone with a passion for providing great customer service. Chapel View is a 108-bed care center that offers Short-Term Rehab, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice Care services. Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.

• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Engage residents by talking to them and describing meal choices.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
