About The Position
The Pillars of Lakeville brings the best of senior care & living to the Twin Cities' fastest-growing south metro community near Farmington. This beautiful new building will offer 100 senior apartments including independent and assisted living units as well as a carefully crafted memory care neighborhood on the first floor with a patio courtyard. We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team!â¯This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in Lakeville, MN. This casual services position includes; This role will temporarily fill in a 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two week pay period) shift to start, then will transition into a casual role. 6:30am - 2:30pm Day Shift Weekends as needed New Early Wage Access!
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required
Responsibilities
- Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
- Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service
- Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
- Assists with meal prep and special events
- Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
- Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
