Create a welcoming dining experience - set up tables, take orders, serve meals, and ensure residents feel valued and cared for during each meal. Maintain a clean and safe environment - wash dishes, clean dining and kitchen areas, manage garbage removal, and follow all safety and sanitation standards. Support kitchen operations - monitor food and equipment temperatures, maintain supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Be a valued team member - assist in training new staff, contribute to quality improvement efforts, and provide friendly, resident-centered service every day. Requirements

  • CBRF Certification preferred (training and certification can be provided upon hire).
  • Previous experience cooking and preparing breakfast items to order preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and push frequently; lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, follow written instructions, and work cooperatively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Compassion, patience, and professionalism when interacting with residents-including those who may be upset or in distress.

Nice To Haves

  • CBRF Certification preferred
