About The Position

The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors all located in River Falls, WI. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents’ storage area. We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in River Falls, WI. We welcome students and retirees. 32 hours per two week pay period Early evening shift Every other weekend New Early Wage Access!

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
