Job Overview Arbors at Ridges Assisted Living is located on the Ebenezer Ridges Burnsville Campus near Fairview Ridges Hospital. Arbors at Ridges offers 62 breathtaking apartments. We have a well-established community with warm residents, and a dedicated and seasoned staff! We are committed to well-rounded healthcare and successfully communicate with residents to promote a high quality of life. The Culinary Assistant is responsible for dining room and to-go meal service to residents. The schedule includes; 20 hours every two weeks ; Part Time Evening shift Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting: Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction: Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately.
• Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
