About The Position
Lakeside Generations Senior Living & Care Center, a Cassia community overlooking a lake, has wonderful Culinary Assistant positions available. There are guaranteed hours with the possibility of picking up shifts! No experience needed! We will train you! We welcome anyone with a passion for providing great customer service to join our team. As a Culinary Assistant at Lakeside Generations, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Mealtimes and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Come and work in a beautiful and rewarding setting while helping seniors enjoy their dining experience. Position Type: Part-Time with some weekends. Shift Available: Evenings 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM Wage Range: $15.15 to $18.47 / hour depending on experience Location: 439 William Avenue East, Dassel MN 55325
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required, we will train!
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
- Perform other duties as needed.
