We offer an age-in-place model, where our residents choose apartments and services based on their needs. We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting
- Follows meal serving schedule and procedures
- Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs
- Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques
- Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures
- Follows proper procedures for dining room set-up
- Follows proper work flow to stay on task
- Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service
- Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift
- Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction
- Welcomes residents and initiates conversation
- Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
- Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately
- Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Preferred: High School Diploma and 1 year of experience
