Leidos’ Defense seeking a Counter UAS Systems Integrator to join our Lawton Oklahoma team developing state of the art Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and Mobile Short-Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) aligned solutions. This role will report to the Program Manager responsible for full kill chain C-UAS sensing, decision aids, and effectors. As a Systems Integration engineer you will help radar, command and control, effector, and cyber integrated product teams identify opportunities to collaborate in creating a system of systems to protect the United States and its allies from aerial attacks from any foe. This role will collaborate across a diverse team of engineering leaders & professionals. This role relies on an ability to absorb knowledge and work across engineering disciplines in a cross functional and collaborative fashion. Frequent travel to customer sites worldwide or to engage directly with our team in Huntsville Alabama is required (25% or monthly). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 -8 years of relevant experience in project management, technical writing and technical leadership or Masters with 2-6 years of relevant experience in project management, technical writing and technical leadership
  • Experience with RADAR systems, electronic warfare, and military command and control
  • Experience working with requirements development and rapid prototyping
  • Demonstrated ability to use data driven decision making, meet operational/occupational safety standards and conduct root cause analysis to support conclusions when making technical recommendations to Program Manager and Chief Engineer
  • Must be a US citizen possess and able to maintain DoW Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Test and Evaluation experience in Department of War systems
  • Demonstrated experience in experiment design and data analysis
  • Technical writing experience
  • Active DoW Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Maintain integrated master schedule for multiple prototype systems and test/demonstration events
  • Attend internal integrated product team meetings including leading the test and demonstration portion of the product team
  • Attend customer or sponsor meetings to coordinate test objectives, personnel and equipment footprint
  • Coordinate across the IPT to meet test entry criteria including test readiness, cyber security, authority to operate/connect, interim authority to connect, and spectrum approval for systems under test
  • Author a data collection plan and lead analysts who support test and demonstration outcomes
  • Maintain repositories of collected data ensuring that additional test points are only collected when existing data is insufficient or new prototype capability is available
  • Coordinate with the AM2FP program management team to execute the project by defining objectives, creating a plan and timeline, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring overall success.
  • Work in tandem with systems engineers to oversee requirement changes including user requirements, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Demonstrate proper systems thinking to manage complex systems throughout their life cycles and integrating various components, subsystems, or processes. Applying a holistic approach to analyze and understand complex structures and their interactions
  • Conduct Validation and Verification ensuring that systems meet requirements and specifications through rigorous testing and evaluation
  • Act as lead technical writer authoring documents, leading peer review, and editing final drafts from appropriate sources of truth ensuring prototype operation, maintenance and storage procedures are accurate and maintained in Product Lifecycle Management systems
