Level I & Level II Fire/EMT Special Course Monitor: A Fire/EMT Instructor develops and delivers training for aspiring firefighters and EMTs, covering fire science , emergency medical care , equipment use , and safety protocols. Ensuring compliance with NFPA /state standards through hands-on skills labs, simulations, and classroom lectures, while also managing student records, maintaining training facilities, and mentoring students for real-world readiness. Key Responsibilities Take Daily Attendance at Saturday Course and other convenings Provide the teacher of record with weekly grades to enter in Skyward Assist in implementing the lessons for fire, rescue, and EMS topics, aligning with Level 3 and Level 4 requirements Prepare students for theory, lab skills, simulations, and field training Demonstrate and maintain the firefighting and EMS training gear Work with Fire Academy instructors on implementing their curriculum Collect permission documents from parents Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
