CT/X-Ray Multimodality Technologist - FT (Black River Medical Center) 3-12h day shifts Saturday, Sunday, & Monday.
About The Position
The CT/X-ray Multimodality Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor, performs all Radiology/CT procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. Is able to perform the duties of an ARRT Technologist as required in addition to performing CT duties. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary. MUSC Health Black River Medical Center supports a patient-and family-centered approach to care. Family members are not considered visitors to a loved one who is hospitalized. They are key participants in support, decision-making, and care. We do not have visiting hour restrictions and two people are always welcome at the bedside 24 hours a day. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- One year of radiologic experience.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- CT Experience is preferred but not required.
