Position Overview The CT & X-Ray Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership across Expert MRI imaging centers. This role is responsible for supervising CT and X-Ray technologists, maintaining imaging protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting efficient workflow and staffing coverage. The Supervisor works closely with the Medical Director, radiologists, and operations leadership to ensure consistent clinical standards and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor's preferred)
  • 5+ years of radiology experience; multi-modality experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a radiology setting
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • ARRT
  • CRT
  • BLS (required)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong on-site presence to support staff performance, morale, and workflow efficiency
  • Collaborate with radiologists to develop, standardize, and optimize CT and X-Ray protocols
  • Ensure patient, staff, and radiologist safety while maintaining full HIPAA compliance
  • Provide CT coverage as needed to ensure continuity of operations
  • Monitor table-time availability and support efficient scheduling practices
  • Communicate proactively regarding staffing, equipment, supplies, and system updates
  • Assess staffing needs and participate in interviewing and hiring in partnership with the Medical Director
  • Oversee scheduling and shift coverage to optimize workflow
  • Lead onboarding and training for technologists, including equipment use, PACS/RIS workflows, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure technologists maintain required licensure, certifications, and CEUs
  • Support performance evaluations, coaching, and staff development initiatives
  • Support accreditation and regulatory compliance efforts (ACR, Joint Commission, state inspections)
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Track and support performance metrics related to staffing coverage, workflow efficiency, compliance, and retention
