About The Position

The job is for a full-time CT Technologist at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. The role involves performing quality CT scans, ensuring patient satisfaction, and contributing to departmental improvements. Requirements

ARRT eligible.
Some scanning experience.
Able to complete most CT procedures.
ARRT Registered.

Responsibilities

Serves as a patient advocate to ensure that patients and customers needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensures timely scheduling of both inpatients and out patients.
Provides education to all patients before, during and after exams.
Maintains a positive relationship with all customers i.e., patients, other departments, physicians and fellow associates.
Reviews patient satisfaction data and participates in improving areas of concern.
Utilizes appropriate resources to resolve patient irritants.
Addresses and resolves customer complaints.
Ensures on-time completion of own performance pathway.
Submits self-evaluation to leader two weeks before review.
Participates quarterly in the associate satisfaction survey.
Submits ideas on improving customer satisfaction on a continual basis.
Accountable for the production of quality CT scans.
Demonstrates the appropriate operation of all CT equipment.
Demonstrates safety in all areas, electrical, environmental, radiation etc.
Ensures all appropriate information is present before CT exams are performed.
Completes all data entries in the HIS and RIS.
Participates in efforts to monitor and improve departmental CQI indicators.
Submits ideas for improving quality in the department.
Assesses own learning needs, seeks appropriate training and development.
Sets own learning goals.
Maintains a program to complete required training hours per quarter.
Submits dynamite ideas to your leader.
Implement Just-Do-It initiatives in your department during the year.
Participates in hospital wide activities.
Participates in departmental recognition and socialization activities.
Attends all departmental staff meetings.
Participates in efforts to improve productivity in your department.
Submits ideas for improving productivity in your department.
Ensures appropriate supplies are available.
Participates in efforts to contain costs or generate revenue in your department.
Submits ideas for reducing expenses or adding revenue.
