About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a flexible scheduling environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State Department of Health License (L.R.T).
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and current CT certification.
• BLS Certification (current).
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required.
• Perform CT procedures according to established protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks to confirm proper equipment functionality prior to patient examinations.
• Administer contrast and radioactive materials in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Complete all required departmental documentation, including logs, charge records, and equipment issue reports, to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety testing in alignment with departmental standards.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and comply with the ALARA principle.
• Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient imaging records (films and electronic data) for radiologist interpretation.
• Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
• Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries, ensuring correct activity levels prior to administration.
