Under the general direction of Radiology leadership and the immediate supervision of a Lead Technologist, the CT Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level without direct supervision. This role includes performing general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and image quality. The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT and X-ray equipment, preparing and administering contrast media (including IV injections), preparing patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications, and ensuring adherence to departmental policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
