About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to operate CT imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging protocols.

Requirements

Proficiency in CT equipment operation and patient positioning
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, sterile techniques, and safety procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers
Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT Certification
Active Ohio Radiographer License
BLS (American Heart Association)

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of CT or related imaging experience

Responsibilities

Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to procedures
Obtain and document patient history, medications, allergies, and completed questionnaires
Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions or concerns
Position patients and perform CT scans according to established protocols
Produce and archive diagnostic-quality images within quality control standards
Administer contrast media and medications following approved protocols and physician direction
Perform venipuncture and IV starts as required
Reconcile patient medications to prevent contrast-related interactions
Utilize radiation safety and dose-reduction techniques
Monitor patients throughout procedures and assist to prevent falls or injury
Assist physicians with invasive procedures when applicable
Maintain accurate documentation and complete exams efficiently
Support coworkers and assist in other imaging modalities as needed
Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and professional standards
