About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and become part of one of the world’s most respected healthcare organizations. We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. This role includes the exciting opportunity provide care in Cleveland Clinic Main Campus’ new Neurological Institute. This new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility is designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. In addition to working in the new Neurological Institute, caregivers in this role will have the opportunity to provide patient care in additional areas across Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, including Cardiac, Digestive Disease, Medical-Surgical and more. As a CT Technologist, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through accurate and advanced computed tomography imaging. You’ll work in a dynamic outpatient setting where teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail help ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for both patients and caregivers. While the environment is fast-paced, you’ll be supported by a collaborative team and have access to the wide range of educational and professional development opportunities available at Cleveland Clinic. A caregiver in this position works weekends, third shift from 6:30pm-7:00am (Saturday and Sunday) + Monday night from 10:30pm-7am.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing
• Computed Tomography (CT) Certification [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study.
• Verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.
