About The Position

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. This role works directly with radiologists and staff to prepare patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
If not CT-registered, must complete ARRT post-primary certification in CT within 12 months of hire (18 months for incumbents in CT Tech roles)
ARRT
CT Registry (if outpatient - IDTF or HOPD)
Strong analytical ability and basic computer skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt procedures to meet patient-specific needs
Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and delivering the most remarkable patient experience

Nice To Haves

Associate Degree
Graduate of a JCERT-accredited school of Radiology and/or military health system program
CT Registry (if inpatient)
One year of experience in CT scanning

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly
Safely and effectively operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images
Adapt procedures to meet the age-specific needs of patients
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care
Support a safe, patient-centered environment in line with "First Do No Harm" principles
