About The Position

Sentara Leigh is hiring a CT Tech and offers a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. This is an offsite, non-hospital based position with no holidays and no call. The role involves performing Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, completing department documentation, maintaining equipment cleanliness and operational status, and maintaining adequate supply inventory for examinations. The Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex provides a convenient, modern option for outpatient radiology procedures, utilizing the latest technology and staffed by radiologists with sub-specialist expertise. Every detail, from the facility's design to personnel training, focuses on patient comfort, convenience and reassurance. Requirements

  • ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate
  • ARRT or CNMT is required
  • Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions)

Responsibilities

  • Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician
  • Provides patient and family education
  • Operates equipment safely
  • Completes department documentation
  • Maintains all equipment to be clean and operational
  • Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations
