About The Position
Responsible for performing a variety of technical scanning procedures using ionizing radiation for CT Scanning and X-ray procedures. This position requires independent judgment and initiative in the application of these procedures. Additionally, this role manages designated areas, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and proper maintenance of equipment. In addition, this position ensures the accuracy and quality of imaging results. Collaborates with other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the radiology department through diligent performance of duties.
Requirements
- 1 Year of technical experience in CT and X-ray [Required]
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) [Required] OR
- Registered Radiology Technologist (RT)(R)(ARRT) [Required] OR
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Required] AND
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Responsibilities
- Performs technical imaging procedures on patients of all age groups, ensuring efficient and courteous care.
- Reports and resolves customer service issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborates with radiology staff and other departments to facilitate coordinated patient care.
- Utilizes supplies and resources efficiently, recognizing and reporting equipment malfunctions to prevent costly repairs.
- Complies with governing body standards and directives.
