About The Position

The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I performs imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and one (1) or more advanced imaging modalities. The advanced imaging modalities include CT, MRI, or interventional radiology (IR). The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I will function independently and must meet all the minimum qualifications and requirements for the modalities in which they practice. Requirements

  • Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
  • 2 years of experience working in an advanced modality is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Certification in an advanced modality through ARRT is required.
  • License Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or related field is preferred.
  • Certification in two (2) of the advanced modalities is preferred. (Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
