As an Installation Service Engineer CT Remote you will be responsible to: Start-up and calibration of CT installations Provide expert level installation support to field service organization Communicate and escalate technical issues and delays Keep installation projects on schedule Assure quality Evaluate room layout and installation quality of our mechanical install vendors Start-up in accordance with factory instructions and specifications Troubleshoot technical problems and repair out of box failures Correct vendor and factory errors and mistakes Order missing or damaged parts Provide feedback to vendors, factory, project management and planning Provide on-site installation training for field Customer Service Engineers. Maintain tools & parts inventory, schedules maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc., and completes documents required of all installations. Perform assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements. Demonstrate thorough/ advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area.

Requirements

  • Technical training or degree, associates or higher; 4+ years experience with CT system installation and service preferred.
  • 100% travel role with ability to be gone for longer time periods.
  • End of the Quarter work requires “All-Hands-On-Deck” attitude to achieve business goals.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and capable of evaluating room layout and site planning.
  • Must be able to effectively set up and connect hospital networks to Siemens remote diagnostic SRS/RUH applications.
  • Requires strong customer and communication skills.
  • Must be organized, self-sufficient and capable of working with little or no supervision.
  • Candidate living near a major airport preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required; Company vehicle is provided, also for private use
  • Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Many clients require Siemens Healthineers employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites.
  • Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position.
  • These requirements vary by client and may include, but are not limited to: Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN) Criminal background checks Drug screens Immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus) Annual TB testing Healthcare training.
  • A successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
